The main gallery of the Spellman Museum tells the history of the Forney area through artifacts, text, and interactive exhibits. Themes include Native Americans, wildlife, early settlers, transportation, agriculture, Forney schools, and more. Visitors can build their own model log cabins or play a matching game using tools from the blacksmith shop. Photos of historic buildings and the people who lived, worshiped, and worked in them can be seen throughout the exhibits.
