No, this is a separate event, but it takes place on the same day as Christmas on Main. The City event is from 10am – 4pm, and the Historic Homes Tour is from 5pm – 8pm.

Please Note: Downtown Forney at Main and Bois d’Arc will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic for the Christmas on Main event. Although it ends at 4pm, sections of downtown may remain closed for several hours afterwards as city employees clear the event space. Please drive carefully in the area and obey all road closures and traffic adjustments on this day.

1. Some sections of the houses may be closed off for privacy reasons or to isolate pets. Off-limits areas will be clearly marked. Please do not open closed doors or bypass any roped-off areas. This extends to the outdoor yards/grounds of the houses as well.

2. These are private homes, not public buildings. Please be aware that they may not meet ADA accessibility guidelines as private residences. Sections of some homes, or potentially all of some homes, might have stairs or other obstacles that restrict accessibility. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

3. Please wear appropriate and/or comfortable walking shoes for this event. This will help ensure your safety as you walk between houses but also inside the houses and on their grounds. There will be different floor surfaces and elevations within the houses, and optimal traffic flow might require entering the front and leaving the back via porches or gravel driveways, etc.
