Commerce, Texas, March 20 - Forney High School won in the regional one-act play context which closed at the East Texas State Teachers' College here Saturday night. Farmersville High School was second and Mineola third.

The play presented by the winning group was "The Valiant" by Halworthy and Middlemass. Farmersville presented "The Boor" by Tchekoff and Mineola "The Beau of Bath" by Constance D. Mackay.

Other teams in the contest were from Celeste, Longview, Denison and Honey Grove high schools and Sunset High School of Dallas.
