In the death of Mrs. Mary L. Johnson at Forney yesterday, Texas loses one of her pioneer residents. Mrs. Johnson was 76 years of age and had been in the State for sixty-four years, coming here with her parents from Jefferson City, Mo., when 12 years of age. For many years she was a resident of Waco, but has been living lately at her last home near Forney. Relatives in Dallas who will attend the funeral today are Mrs. Ed A. Gebhard, Misses Sallie and Carrie Dugelby and Mrs. Sarah Dugelby.

Note: Mary Louisa Johnson is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born 27 May 1829 and died 11 November 1904.
