Judge C. Douglass, native of Forney, passed away at a Terrell hospital Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the graveside at Hillcrest cemetery at 9:00 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. L.B. Jenkins officiating.

Judge C. Douglass was born on May 30, 1883 in Forney and had lived the greater part of his life in this city.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving him are: his mother, Mrs. C.C. Douglass of Dallas; three brothers, J.E. Douglas, S.L. Douglass, of Dallas; and N.B. Douglass of Forney; one sister, Mrs. Lenis Shrum of Dallas.

Note: Judge Clinton Douglass is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in the Douglass family lot. He was born in 1883 and died on August 17, 1951.
