FORNEY, Texas, Aug. 30 - James Richard Smith and his bride, the former Margaret Isabel Taylor, are on a wedding trip to Oklahoma, following their marriage Friday night.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Taylor. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor.

The Rev. James H. Stanley officiated at the wedding in the First Baptist Church, Mrs. J.A. Pinson and Mrs. Jay Cole presented music.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a pale blue faille sheath dress with white nylon organdy overskirt. She also wore white nylon mitts and a Juliet cap of blue faille with an illusion veil. She carried gardenias on a white Bible.

Mrs. R.J. Green of Dallas was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jo Ann Humphrey, Stamford, and Miss Betty Sue Williams, Eldorado.

James H. Taylor of Dallas was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Charles M. Allbritton, Ferris; Edward Nichols, Clifton Birchman of Dallas and Bill Skinner.

A reception was held in the garden at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Margie Miller and Mrs. Jack K. McClure registered guests. Mrs. Bynum Smith, Mrs. Clifton Birchman, Misses Sally McGlon, Mary Ellen Simpson, Ann King and Merlee Portman assisted in serving.

The bride was graduated from Baylor University, where she belonged to Pi Alpha Lambda and Kappa Pi. The bridegroom also attended Baylor University.
