Forney, Tex., Feb. 19 (Special) - Miss Frances Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Jones here, became the bride of the Rev. W.H. McCleskey of Sugarland a few days ago. Dr. Frank M. Richardson of Galveston performed the ceremony at the local Methodist Church. The bride, a graduate of the local high school and the Southern Methodist University, has been active in church, social and education circles here for some time. The groom received his degrees from S.M.U. The couple is now at home in Sugarland where Rev. McCleskey is pastor of the Methodist Church.
Note: Found Wayne and Francis McCleskey living in Sugarland, Fort Bend County, Texas. He is 29 years old and she is 25. His occupation is Minister and her 1935 residence is Forney. The census date is June 4, 1940, which, according to the SSDI, was her birthday. In the census, she listed her age as 24 when she was married. Based on this info, I'm going to assume this article was written in 1940. However, it could be 1939 if my numbers are off.
