Miss Vicki LYnn Hulett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pace Hulett, 6911 Blackwood, and Paschall Wayne Hamblen were married Friday evening in a ceremony at the Central Christian Church.
The bride was graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University wher she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Chi Theta. She formerly attended the University of Colorado.
Mr. Hamblen in the son of Mrs. Aline Pollard Hamblen of Tyler and James E. Hamblen of Forney. He is a former student of Texas Technological College and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Dr. E.C. Rowand Jr. officiated the marriage ceremony and Mr. Hulett gave his daughter in marriage.
The bride wore a gown of candlelight silk taffeta and Alencon lace designed with princess lines. The bodice featured a deep yoke of reembroidered lace and a wide decollete neckline, and the flared skirt, with deep pleats in the back, extended into a chapel train. The fingertip veil was fashioned of Brussels lace and the bridal bouquet was a shower of white roses and stephanotis.
Mrs. Houston E. Holmes Jr. attended the bride as matron of honor, and Mmes Robert A. Hamblen of Irving, E. Jack Adleta and Walter J. Lightbourn were bridesmaids.
Mr. Hamblen was his son's best man. Serving as groomsmen were Robert A. Hamblen and James S. Hamblen of Richardson, brothers of the bridegroom, and Stacy Smith of Lubbock.
Chuck Hulett, the bride's mother, and Mr. Holmes seated the guests. Music was presented by C.W. Duncan and Ray Evans.
After a reception at the Brookhaven Country Club, the couple left for a trip to New Orleans, La., and will later live at 4307 McKinney.
