Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Ways, 4425 Purdue, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Ways, above, to James M. Burchfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Burchfield, Forney. The wedding will take place June 18 in the rectory of Sacred Heart Cathedral. Miss Ways attended Highland Park High School and her fiance attended Crandall (Texas) High School. He served four years in Army Air Forces during the war.
