One of the most accommodating businessmen in Forney is Louis I. Dietz, assistant cashier and auditor of the Farmers National Bank. Mr. Dietz, employed in the bank since January 1, 1926, is active in the Lions Club, having held several offices including vice-president and secretary of the organization. A talented musician he has taken part in Little Theatre and local commercial programs. He is an active member of the Presbyterian Church, and is a leader in Boy Scout work.
Mr. Dietz, who has had advanced courses in scout work, lacks only six months training at Columbia University, to be eligible for National Scout executive work. He has been scout master and Troup committeeman in Forney for several years. He served on the County Planning Board for the PWA.
Mr. Dietz graduated from Forney High School in 1924 and attended the School of Engineering at SMU. He was married in June 1935 to Miss Linn Griffin.
