Forney Citizens to Help on Terrell Interurban |

Forney, Texas, Dec. 29 - A meeting of citizens from Terrell and Mesquite and this place was held here today for the purpose of considering the right of way for the proposed Terrell interurban. J.J. Roddy was elected chairman and Walter D. Adams secretary. A committee of Forney citizens, consisting of J.J. Roddy, O.W. Reagin, W.A. Brooks, Jr., J.M. Davis, N.B. Pinson and B.B. Hulsey, was appointed to assist in securing the remainder of the right of way, which is a very small section.
Burr Martin, vice president and general manager of the Texas Electric Company, addressed the meeting, explaining such questions as to the proposed construction as was asked him by those in attendance. The right of way is practically all secured.
