The following was furnished us by Mr. J.H. Mercer, the accomodating station agent. Cotton 2608 bales, hay 962 cars, posts 40 cars, wood 108 cars, stock 24 cars, cotton seed 59 cars, corn 3 cars, total number of cars shippped from June 1, 1888 to June 1, 1889 1331. It will be noticed that the cotton crop was very short. Forney generally shipping between 5000 and 8000 bales. |
