From Dallas, take US80 east to the Broad Street/FM688 exit. Turn right on S. Bois d’Arc which is the second light. The Spellman Museum is a red brick building on the right side at the corner of S. Bois d’Arc and Main Street (one block past the railroad tracks). Address is 200 S. Bois d’Arc.
From Terrell, take US80 west to the Pinson Road/740 exit and turn left to use the overpass. Turn left on Broad Street, then right onto S. Bois d’Arc. The Spellman Museum is a red brick building on the right side at the corner of S. Bois d’Arc and Main Street (one block past the railroad tracks). Address is 200 S. Bois d’Arc.
Beginning July 10th, S. Bois d’Arc will be closed for street repairs between Front and Trinity/Elm streets. The street will be closed approx. 2 months with sidewalk work to continue after the reoad reopens. The museum is OPEN.
When coming from the north (Broad St), turn right on Front St. to park behind the block of buildings or along W. Main St. You can also turn left on Front St. and park behind City Hall. When coming from the south, parking is available in the Forney Academic Center parking lot and adjacent Sub-Courthouse parking lots at Elm. Parking is also available on E. Main St., but pedestrians are encouraged to cross at either the Front or Trinity/Elm street intersections as Bois d’Arc is an active construction site and impassable at times. There is free parking throughout downtown including the parking lot behind the Jackrabbit marquee at S. Bois d’Arc and Front St. and anywhere along Main, Front, and S. Bois d’Arc streets. There is also an overflow lot behind the sub-courthouse located at Main St. and Elm.
