Smothers, Lawton, Okla.; seven grandchildren and other relatives. Services 3 p.m. Thursday, First Baptist Church, Forney, Rev. L.B. Jenkins officiating. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Forney.

Note: Claude Newton Whittemore is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery next to his wife Nina A. Gill and a young son, Jack Crawford Whittemore. Claude was born February 17, 1892 and died September 14, 1965.
