Forney, Tex., May 9 – At a meeting of the School Board of Forney Independent School District, held last night, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: N.E. Shands, president; W.S. Yates, secretary; W.A. Brooks, treasurer. The board re-elected C.F. Walker superintendent of the white school, and all of the old teachers were re-elected. W.E. Youngblood was elected principal of the colored school, with his wife as assistant.
