Forney’s New School Building

It is a settled fact now that Forney is to have a new school building on the south side of the rail road. $1,600 has been subscribed and the balance will be made up in a day or so. Work will be commenced in a few days. North Forney has a good building and South Forney surely needs one, for the ond one is dangerous and uncomfortable and we are glad to know that the citizens have at last decided to build immediately. The building is to be two stories high with five rooms and halls running both ways will will cost about $2,000 or $2,500.
