Funeral services for Wylie B. Royal, 70, of 642 Northlake Drive, a Dallas resident for 28 years, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson Clayton Funeral Chapel in Forney, Kaufman County. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery there.
Mr. Royal, a retired auto salesman, died here Wednesday.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 928 in Mesquite, and a native of Forney.
Survivors: Wife; a daughter, Mrs. D.M. Lander of Mesquite; a son, Dan Royal of Fort Worth; a sister, Miss Lelia Royal of Dallas, and four grandchildren.

Funeral Thursday for W.B. Royal
W.B. Royal, 642 North Lake Drive, Dallas, died there early Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held from the Anderson-Clayton Chapel in Forney at 4 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Winston Fletcher officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest cemetery with the Mesquite Lodge No. 928 AF&AM conducting the graveside rites.
Wylie Bussey Royal was born in Forney on November 25, 1894. He grew up here and was graduated from Forney High School. He moved to Mesquite in 1919 and was district representative for the Texas Power & Light company a number of years. He later worked as a salesman for Orand Buick company and moved to Dallas twenty-eight years ago. He has been engaged in real estate the past ten years.
Mr. Royal was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of the Mesquite Masonic Lodge.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Clarice Royal of Dallas; one son, Dan Royal of Fort Worth; one daughter, Mrs. D.M. Lander, Jr. of Mesquite; four grandsons; and a sister, Miss Lelia Royal of Dallas.
