Sister M. Celine Adams

Sr. M. Celine Adams died Sunday, Dec. 29th, age 72, at St. Mary of the Pines, Chattawa, Mississippi.

Survivors include five brothers, Frank and Lloyd of Dallas, and Joe Kirt and Ray of Talty, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sister Celine was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Adams, Sr., pioneer citizens of Talty. She was born at Talty on Jan. 30th, 1896. She spent 52 years as a Nun in the Notre Dame Order, teaching music. Burial was under the direction of Hartman Funeral Home at Brookhave, Miss.
