Terrell, Tex., July 20 – Two negroes dead and one in jail is the result of a fight at a negro festival on the M.F. Simms farm northeast of Forney last Saturday night. Ed Fields’ wife and Bonnie Pinner were killed.

Matt Johnson, colored, was accidentally killed near Forney last Saturday afternoon with a gun in the hands of another negro.
