Mrs. E.J. Reynolds, 60, of Kansas City, Mo., sister of Mrs. Clatye Keahey of Dallas, died in a a Kansas City hospital Tuesday after a long illness.

A native of Forney, she was a graduate of Tyer (Tyler?) Business College. She had lived in Kansas City for 35 years operating her husband’s detective agency since his death some eight years ago.

Mrs. Reynolds was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. F.M. Adams of Forney; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Arrington of Kansas City and Mrs. Keahey, and two brothers, Leslie Adams of Forney and R. Lloyd Adams of Fort Worth.

Funeral arrangements are pending with the Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home at Forney.

Note: This could be the Mamie Adams listed with Frank & Addie Adams in the 1900 and 1910 census. There is a death certificate at the Missouri Digital Heritage website for a Betty J. Reynolds, born 9 Dec 1897, died 11 Feb 1958, parents were Frank Adams and Addie Lee Brown.
