Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Margaret Layden Corbett at St. Bernard Church in Dallas with Msgr. Erbrick as celebrant. Interment was at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Mrs. Corbett lived in Forney many years and was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are three brothers, Mike and Martin Layden of Dallas, and Dennis L. Layden of Little Rock, Ark.

Mrs. Margaret Layden Corbett, 86, of 11028 Wyatt, a recently retired housemother at St. Paul Hospital Nursing Home, died Thursday in Mesquite.

She was born in Forney, Kaufman County, and had lived there until she moved to Dallas five years ago. She had worked at the nursing home about five years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday in Jerome J. Crane Funeral Chapel. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
