John Alfred, passed away Saturday. Survived by wife, Mrs. Mary York; son, A.V. York, Terrell; daughters, Mrs. Lewis Dozier, Terrell, Mrs. Sidney Clendining, Dallas; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe York, Wylie, Elly York, Orange, Luther York, Dallas, Billy York, Dallas, Ray York, Dallas; sister, Mrs. Stuart Campbell, Dallas; half sister, Mrs. Elvie Triplett, Dallas; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Services 4 p.m. Sunday, First Baptist Church, Forney, Rev. Jerry Griffin and Rev. L.B. Jenkins officiating. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Forney.
