Sudden Death of Merchant

Forney, Tex., April 9 – J.C. Douglas, a prominent merchant of this place, died suddenly this morning of heart trouble. He had dressed himself and was getting ready to light a fire when he was seized with a coughing spell and was dead in fifteen minutes. He formerly lived at Bullard, Tex., and the remains will be shipped there for interment. His daughter was at Nashville, Tenn., and the remains will be held until she arrives.
Note: J. Calvin Douglas is buried at the Douglas Cemetery in Bullard, Texas.
