Mrs. Delia J. Adams, lifetime resident of the Talty community died at her home there Thursday morning Dec. 23, following an illness of several months. The funeral Mass was held at St. Martin on Dec. 27, with the Rev. Casimir Clogowski as celebrand with interment at Oakland in Terrell.

Delia Josephine Adams, a daughter of the late Jerry Maloney and Kate Corcoran Maloney, was born in Kaufman County, Texas on Feb. 23, 1889. She had lived her entire life in the community of her birth known as the Irish Ridge. She was married to S.K. Adams on Jan. 7, 1914. To this union five children were born.

One daughter preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, S.K. Adams, one son, Curtis Adams of Garland, Three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Park, Mrs. Charles Rouvaldt and Mrs. George Schlebach, all of Talty, two sisters, Mrs. Manie Henery of Austin and Miss Margaret Maloney of Terrell.
