Betty Jane Hatley passed away on March 12, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Warren G. Hatley; her daughter Janie (Hatley) Carson; her parents Alex and Edna Shipley; and her brothers and sisters: Gordon (Bill) Shipley, Dennie Shipley, Frank Shipley, Austin Shipley, Lewis (Luke) Shipley, Harry Shipley, R.C. (Rock) Shipley, Lottie (Shipley) Shook, Joe Shipley, and Dick Shipley.

She is survived by her children Warren G. Hatley and wife Karen (Townsend) Hatley, Fowler Hatley and wife Kelly (Waltmon) Hatley, and son-in-law Joe Carson; her grandchildren John Carson and wife Leighann Carson, Julie Carson, Tiffani Walker, Reed Hatley and wife Jessica, Jennifer Hatley, and Collins Hatley; her great-grandchildren Maggie Carson, Blake Carson, and Tricia Carson-Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Cemetery Fund in Forney, Texas.
