Funeral Services to Be Held for Mrs. Virgle Robertson

Mrs. Amy McKellar Robertson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Virgle Robertson, 60, wife of a Longview meat distributor, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sparkman-Brand Funeral Chapel, 2115 Ross.

Mrs. Robertson, a former resident, died here Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James L. Herriman, 9418 Erie Court. The Robertsons have lived in Longview for the last sixteen years.

A native of Forney, Kaufman County, she was the daughter of the late John McKellar, one of the original settlers of that town.

Survivors are her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Herriman of Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. J.D. Crawford and Mrs. S.C. Williams, both of Dallas.

Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park. Dean Gerald G. Moore of St Matthew’s Cathedral-Episcopal will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Rex Van, W. Dean Forrest, Van Harrington, Fred Webster, Frank H. Cathey Jr. and Samuel C. Wilson.
