Forney, Kaufman Co., Tex., Aug 18 – While engaged in putting up some gutters to-day a section of it fell, striking A.J. Walker on the face and inflicting a deep gash.

M.J. Cox of Mesquite will establish another paper here the 1st of September. This is his old home, where he made his debut in journalism.
