Forney Girl Composes College Campus Song

Forney, Texas, Dec. 21 – Miss Lois Pinson, home for the holidays from Texas State College for Women, is receiving congratulations since several thousand copies of a song, Campus Shadows, written and composed by her, came off the press Thursday.

Miss Pinson wrote the song last summer in commemoration of the beauties of her college campus. The art work on the cover was done by Miss Corinne Spellman of Dallas. Miss Pinson will receive her degree in piano and public school music. She has been active in college musical circles and represented TSCW on the radio and on tours. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Pinson of Forney.
