Five Forney Men Hurt in Automobile Collision

MESQUITE, Dallas Co., Texas, May 30 – Ralph Farmer, Turner Bannister, Nathan Bannister, Cleve Adams and Fred Newton, all young men of Forney, Kaufman County, received bruises and abrasions when the automobile in which they were returning home from Dallas collided with a car containing several negroes about 10 o’clock Saturday night in front of the home of Sheriff Schuyler Marshall Jr., one mile west of Mesquite. Both cars were wrecked, but the occupants were not seriously injured. They were given medical treatment in Mesquite and returned to their homes.
