FORNEY, Kaufman County, Texas, Jan. 28 – At 8 o’clock Thursday night at the Christian Church, Miss Ellen Brooks was married to Gordon West of Wichita Falls. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C.E. Chambers of the Forney Christian Church. The church was decorated. A musical program was given preceding the ceremony and a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. An extended tour of Mexico will be made by the couple, who will reside in Wichita Falls.
