Forney Jackrabbits Beat Lancaster High

Forney, Sept. 27 – The Forney Jackrabbits, a Class B powerhouse, blasted the Lancaster Tigers, 19-0, before a capacity crowd here Friday night.

Fullback Brooks Roland and Quarterback Charles Osborne led the Jackrabbits’ offensive maneuvers.

The Tigers best scoring threat came in the second period when a 40-yard dash by Cecil Yates moved the Tigers to the 20. Three plays moved Lancaster to the eight, but the Forney line held to end the threat.
