Forney Evens Count With Martin’s Mill

FORNEY, Texas, Feb. 13. – The Forney Jackrabbits, paced by the Shipley brothers, defeated Martin’s Mill, 35 to 30, here Wednesday

night to even the score between these two strong Class B quints.

Frank Shipley scored fourteen points and Dan added ten for the victors, while Williams made eleven and Johnson contributed ten for Martin’s Mill. The Doubt-M quint won the first meeting between the two, 32 to 22, recently.

In the B team game that opened the night’s action, Forney also won, 34 to 12, with Bramlett scoring ten and Costello and Skinner nine each.
