Church at Forney Planning Service for Anniversary

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Forney Sunday will celebrate the forty-sixth anniversary of the consecration of the church with a service at 5 p.m.

The mission at Forney was organized in 1896 by the Very Rev. Hudson Stuck who preached the dedicatory sermon six years later when the church was consecrated. W.D. Adams, appointed warden when the church was organized, still is the senior warden.

The Right Rev. Harry T. Moore, retired bishop of Dallas, will deliver the sermon Sunday. Mrs. Blanchard Boyer will sing a special solo for the occasion and the Good Shepherd Church choir of Terrell will also sing.
