M.M. Layden, vice-president of the Farmers National Bank, is the son of the third president of the bank. Born and reared on Irish Ridge near Forney, Mr. Layden received his education at the Lewis Academy, St. Mary’s in Kansas and Eastman College in Poughkeepsie, New York. In 1912 he married Miss Burnette B. Fisher of Trinidad, Colorado, and they live in Dallas. Mr. Layden having moved there in 1906, where he was employed in the old National bank of Commerce for four years. Entering the real estate business in 1911, Mr. Layden has continued in that field.
